Future Places Studio were commissioned by Canary Wharf Group to produce a report to support the planning application for Park Place. The objectives of this report are to:
Establish the macro and micro trends which Canary Wharf must respond to in order to remain competitive as a Global Business District and Metropolitan Town Centre.
Evaluate the opportunities and challenges presented by the western end of the Canary Wharf Estate.
Evaluate the Park Place site in the context of the Canary Wharf Estate and more specifically the western end of the Estate.
Evaluate the opportunity for the Park Place site to contribute to enlivening the western end of the Canary Wharf Estate and the Estate more widely as a global office location in the context of Central Activity Zone (CAZ) uses.
Present an emerging vision for the western end of the Estate which Park Place will contribute to in order to support the evolution of Canary Wharf.
